I love all holidays because they are an opportunity to spend time with family and friends, and they are also an excuse for me to decorate and craft!
With Valentine’s Day on the horizon, and pink hearts showing up everywhere, I wanted to create a fun, cheap and easy Valentine for Dean to bring to his friends at daycare. I knew I wanted him to be a part of making it, and since he is a little shy of two, there isn’t too much he can help with yet. So I decided to do something where he could fingerpaint because kids even younger than Dean can participate in that, and it is so fun (and messy)!
Check out my step-by-step video on how to make this fun and easy V-Day gift with your kid.
2. A base for the card- I used medium size foam hearts, but you could use anything. Cardstock, doily, premade cards, etc.
3. Stencil– I made one out of an index card and it was a little flimsy. I would try and buy a heart stencil or make one out of thicker material.
5. Pens-I borrowed some from school which didn’t work that great. I switched to a sharpy and that worked sooo much better.
6. Bags or just attach to the bubbles.
