Being a mom requires not only a lot of your love, time, and patience, but it also requires a lot of your body. Before I had Dean, I would have an occasional backache or leg cramp, but after my body started hurting in ways I never imagined.
Carrying an ever-growing child in a carrier, in your arms, on your hip, on your back and sometimes on your shoulders can do a number on your muscles and joints. I also found that the constant kneeling and sitting cross-legged really started to hurt my knees.
One of my knees started hurting so bad and so often that I went to see a sports medicine doctor. I had an x-ray of my knee and learned I have arthritis! WHAT! Isn’t that something old people have?! (No offense old people). I feel too young to have it. Nonetheless, here I am.
I told the doctor I was on the ground bending my knees awkwardly to play with my son. She told me to stop doing that. I laughed and said but I have a 2-year-old, that’s not going to happen. She sent me on my way with some anti-inflammatory medication and some exercises. I worked on the exercises, but let’s be honest, I have a 2-year-old and a full-time teaching job, so exercising is rare. Then I came across Real Time Pain Relief. I have been using it on my knee in the mornings and have noticed that I can go through the entire day without any knee pain! Yay!
It goes on smooth like lotion and smells awesome. I had to stop myself from putting it all over. The best thing is the active pain relief ingredients are Aloe Vera, Menthol, Arnica, Capsicum, and Willow Bark. I highly recommend it for any type of muscle or joint pain you might be experiencing. Ultimately, I need to keep doing my exercises and strengthen my knee, but in the meantime, I am stocked to have real Time Pain Relief by my side, so I can keep being a do it yourself parent.I learned about this product through a promotion and am soooo glad I did. It’s one of those things you didn’t know existed and then you wonder how you lived without it for so long. Check out their website. They have a ton of great stuff!
